"Insight Informed Innovation": a front-end process to kick-start and inform medical device innovation
Paul Fearis will share best-practice qualitative primary research methods from industry. Participants will learn a robust and repeatable process to deliver unmet, underserved and unarticulated stakeholder needs/customer requirements. The course will enable participants to 1) define a front-end innovation process compatible with design controls, 2) conduct and document robust ethnographic(observational) research, 3) conduct stakeholder interviews as a starting point for and during the product development process, 4) analyze research to extract and prioritize stakeholder needs, and 5) transition insights to subsequent downstream development processes.
