VANCE-GRANVILLE COMMUNITY COLLEGE: VGCC offering Comfort Cooling class at South Campus

Vance-Granville Community College issued the following announcement.

During the Spring Semester, Vance-Granville Community College’s South Campus will offer a Comfort Cooling course for continuing education and degree seeking students.

This course covers the installation procedures, system operations, and maintenance of residential and light commercial comfort cooling systems. Topics include terminology, component operation, and testing and repair of equipment used to control and produce assured comfort levels. Upon completion, students should be able to use psychrometrics, manufacturer specifications, and test instruments to determine proper system operation.

The spring semester begins on Friday, January 8. The Comfort Cooling lab will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 – 7:50 p.m. at South Campus, classwork will be held online.
