Charlotte home prices rise in October 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2020 in Charlotte rose by $38,500 while total sales increased by 15.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2020, there were 1,728 homes sold, with a median sale price of $263,500 - a 17.1% increase over the $225,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 1,500 homes sold in Charlotte in October 2019.

The median sales tax in Charlotte for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,071, approximately 0.8% of the median home sale price for October 2020.
