Marple Newtown Senior High School issued the following announcement.
You are part of The NSLP (National School Lunch Program) here at Marple Newtown School District.
Our top priority continues to be the health and well-being of our families and students. In an effort to assist you during the current situation of on-line schooling MNSD is offering families the option to obtain lunches that would have normally been received in school.
All students (free, reduced & standard) are eligible for the meals. If the student is ‘standard’ the pricing per meal is $3.40 High School, $3.15 Middle School & $2.90 Elementary. If the student is ‘reduced’ the pricing per meal is $0.40 regardless of grade or location. If the student is ‘free’ the pricing per meal is $0.00 regardless of grade or location. Monies must be deposited through our online service, School Café. An account can be created through MNSD.org > District Departments > Food Service > link to School Café. Accounts will be deducted accordingly each pick up day. No cash or credit transactions can take place at pick-up locations.
We will begin the pick-up service on Sept 8th from 11am – 12:30pm, and the next pick up will be Sept 10th 11am-12:30pm. Pick up will remain each Tuesday and Thursday 11am-12:30pm until further notice. All elementary student pick-ups will be at Russell; please form a car line in the front of the building by the main doors. Middle school pick up will be at Paxon; please form a car line around the side of the school by the cafeteria doors. High school pick up will be at the high school; please form a car line around the back side of the school by the loading dock. MNSD Cafeteria employees will be on location to assist you. Families that have children in different schools can pick up at the location of their choice; please specify ONE location on the form
If you are interested in this service, please CLICK HERE, and fill out the form.
If we do not receive the form back, the student will not be provided lunches. Please feel free to e-mail Tina Stiles with any questions or concerns.
I hope you and your family are safe and well during this COVID-19 situation, and thank you for the opportunity to help you in these difficult times.
