Charlotte home prices rise in May 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2020 in Charlotte rose by $8,000 while total sales decreased by 42.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2020, there were 1,041 homes sold, with a median sale price of $250,000 - a 3.3% increase over the $242,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 1,824 homes sold in Charlotte in May 2019.

The median sales tax in Charlotte for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,854, approximately 0.7% of the median home sale price for May 2020.
