Charlotte home prices rise in September 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2019 in Charlotte rose by $32,500 while total sales increased by 2.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2019, there were 1,338 homes sold, with a median sale price of $237,500 - a 15.9% increase over the $205,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 1,309 homes sold in Charlotte in September 2018.

The median sales tax in Charlotte for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,696, approximately 0.7% of the median home sale price for September 2019.
