Matthews home prices unchanged in the third quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2019 in Matthews was unchanged while total sales increased by 11.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2019, there were 156 homes sold, with a median sale price of $280,000. There were 140 homes sold in Matthews in the third quarter of 2018, and the median sales price for the period was also $280,000.

The median sales tax in Matthews for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,131, approximately 0.8% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2019.
