Garner home prices rise in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Garner rose by $250 while total sales increased by 13300%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were 268 homes sold, with a median sale price of $195,500 - a 0.1% increase over the $195,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Garner in the first half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Garner for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,675, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2019.
