“As the Charlotte region continues to grow and attract top tier talent and companies, I am honored and humbled to be able to serve this amazing community while we fulfill the mission of the Alliance to create the most vibrant, innovative and healthy economy in the nation,” said Carol Lovin, EVP, chief integration.

Malcomb Coley, EY US-Central growth market leader and Charlotte managing partner will assume CLT Alliance leadership role following Lovin in 2022. Also deeply invested in the region, Malcomb joined Carol and eight other Charlotte business leaders in shaping the CLT Alliance as a result of the merger of the Charlotte Chamber and Charlotte Regional Partnership.

Malcomb currently serves as the Alliance’s treasurer as well as board chair of the United Way of Central Carolinas and the boards of Charlotte Center City Partners, Friends of Trinity Episcopal School Board, First Tee of Greater Charlotte, Cameron school of Business Executive Advisory Board for UNC-Wilmington, UNC-W Endowment Board, UNC-W Campaign Executive Cabinet and UNCC, Belk College of Business Board of Advisors. In Atlanta he was a Senior Assurance Partner where he served a variety of both public and private clients.

“I am extremely honored and fortunate to have the opportunity to serve the greater Charlotte region.  As we continue to attract, grow and retain the best talent and most innovated companies in the world as we help Build a Better Working World!” said Malcomb Coley, EY US-Central growth market leader and Charlotte Managing Partner.

“Malcomb and Carol bring a wealth of experience and tremendous leadership to the Alliance, and I am confident their business-minded, collaborative approach and passion for our community will promote and advance the Charlotte region, creating opportunity and helping grow our economy,” said Jennifer Weber, Lowe’s executive vice president, human resources and incoming CLT Alliance Chair for 2020.
