State Water Infrastructure Authority plans virtual meeting on May 16

The State Water Infrastructure Authority is scheduled to hold a meeting via teleconference on Friday, May 16, from 1 to 1:40 pm. The public has the option to listen in online or by phone.

The meeting will be conducted through Webex, and those interested can join using the provided link and event password. For phone access, participants can dial in using the specified number and access code.

Public comments are welcome during the designated portion of the meeting. Individuals wishing to comment must register by 8 a.m. on the day of the meeting.

In compliance with GS 143-318.13, an in-person listening station will be set up at Room 826V on the eighth floor of the Archdale Building in Raleigh for those unable to attend virtually.

The authority’s main role is to allocate federal and state funds for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. It also works on developing a state water infrastructure master plan, suggesting ways to optimize funding resources, and exploring best practices.
