The State Water Infrastructure Authority is scheduled to meet in Raleigh and via teleconference on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. The meeting will run from 9 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., and the public can listen online or by phone.

The in-person portion of the meeting will take place at the Green Square Boardroom, Room 5001, located at 217 W. Jones St., Raleigh, NC 27603. Registration is required for those who want to comment during the public comment section; participants must register by 8 a.m. on February 18.

The authority operates as an independent body responsible for awarding federal and state funding for water and wastewater infrastructure projects across North Carolina. It also develops a state water infrastructure master plan, recommends strategies to maximize loan and grant resources, and reviews best practices in the field.

The Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), which supports this authority, oversees regulatory activities related to air, land, water, and coastal environments throughout North Carolina. The DEQ’s central office is also located at 217 West Jones Street in Raleigh.
