The North Carolina Mining Commission and its rules committee are set to hold meetings in July, with public access available both in Raleigh and online.

The Mining Rules Committee will convene at 2 p.m. on July 1, 2025, via WebEx. An in-person listening station will be provided for those unable to attend online at the Fifth Floor Conference Room of the Archdale Building in Raleigh.

Additionally, the North Carolina Mining Commission itself will meet at 12 p.m. on July 8, 2025. This meeting can be attended either in person at the Ground Floor Hearing Room of the Archdale Building or online through a WebEx session.

The commission comprises five voting members and two non-voting members. It is responsible for setting rules related to mining resources within North Carolina and acts as an advisory body to the Governor. The commission also formulates rules concerning federal aid provisions.
