The North Carolina Ferry Division is set to host a career fair on February 12 in Manteo as it seeks seasonal and permanent employees for the upcoming summer season. The event, organized alongside the College of the Albemarle, will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the college’s Dare Campus located at 205 U.S. 64 South.

Prospective job seekers are invited to explore various opportunities within the Ferry System, with applications open for positions ranging from entry-level parking lot attendants to credentialed vessel crew members. Both temporary and full-time permanent roles are available.

Permanent employment with the Ferry Division offers several benefits including competitive salaries, training and certification increases, health insurance, retirement benefits, and paid leave.

Attendees are encouraged to bring resumes, references, and supporting documents. Representatives from the Ferry Division will be present to discuss available positions and advancement opportunities.

This Manteo event marks the third in a series of five career fairs planned across eastern North Carolina. Previous events took place in Ocracoke on January 31 and Morehead City on February 5. Upcoming fairs are scheduled for February 21 at the Southport Ferry Terminal and February 26 at Beaufort County Community College in Washington.
