The North Carolina Environmental Management Commission is scheduled to meet on September 10 and 11 at the Archdale Building in Raleigh. The meetings are open to the public, who may attend either in person or remotely by computer or phone.

Committee meetings will take place on September 10 at 1 p.m., followed by the full commission meeting on September 11 at 9 a.m. Both sessions will be held in the Ground Floor Hearing Room of the Archdale Building, located at 512 N. Salisbury St., Raleigh, NC, 27604. Details about how to join online or by phone are available on the Commission’s website, where agendas and supporting documents can also be found.

The Environmental Management Commission is tasked with adopting rules aimed at protecting, preserving, and enhancing North Carolina’s air and water resources. It has oversight over several divisions within the Department of Environmental Quality, including Air Quality, Land Resources, Waste Management, and Water Resources.
