NC State wrestling is set to compete at the 2026 NCAA Wrestling Championships in Cleveland, Ohio, beginning March 19 and running through March 21 at Rocket Arena.

The event is significant as it brings together top collegiate wrestlers from across the country, with All-American honors on the line for those who finish in the top eight of their weight classes. NC State enters the tournament with an experienced roster that includes reigning national champion Vincent Robinson, returning All-Americans Matty Singleton and Isaac Trumble, and Ryan Jack, who earned All-American status two years ago.

The team has secured strong seeds heading into the competition. Isaac Trumble holds the No. 2 seed at heavyweight, while Koy Buesgens is seeded fifth at 149 pounds. Matty Singleton is just outside the top five with a No. 6 seed at 174 pounds. Other NC State wrestlers competing include Zach Redding (133 lbs., No. 22 seed), Will Denny (165 lbs., No. 10 seed), and Ryan Jack (141 lbs., No. 16 seed).

The championship will be contested over three days and six sessions, with matches broadcast on ESPN2, ESPNU, and ESPN+, allowing fans to follow live results online and via social media updates from @PackWrestle on X.

Team scoring will be based on advancement points per win—one point for each win in the championship bracket and half a point for each win in consolation rounds—as well as placement points awarded for finishing positions from first through eighth place. Bonus points are also available for pins, forfeits, technical falls, and major decisions.

As NC State looks to build on its recent successes at the national level, all eyes will be on how its athletes perform against elite competition during this year’s championships.
