An issue affecting the phone system of the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality’s Division of Marine Fisheries’ Observer Trip Scheduling System has been resolved. Fishermen can now use the phone number 833-487-8747 to log their gill net fishing plans. The web portal at dmf.ncdenr.org/OTSSPublic continues to be available as an alternative.

The Division expressed gratitude for the patience and cooperation shown by fishermen during this period. For any further issues or assistance, individuals are encouraged to contact the Observer Program at 252-515-5625.
