Governor Josh Stein has introduced a new website aimed at attracting skilled individuals to join the workforce of North Carolina. The platform is specifically targeted at those affected by Hurricane Helene or recent federal budget cuts, as well as servicemembers, their spouses, and veterans seeking employment within the state’s government.

“North Carolina is a great place to live, play, and work,” stated Governor Stein. He emphasized the role of public servants in shaping the state and extended an invitation to talented individuals looking for employment opportunities. “The State of North Carolina is proud to welcome smart and dedicated public-spirited people to join our team.”

Staci Meyer, Director of the Office of State Human Resources (OSHR), also encouraged displaced individuals to consider applying for state positions. “If you have recently been displaced from your career of service, North Carolina encourages you to apply,” she said. Meyer assured that her team would assist applicants in finding suitable jobs that meet their needs.

Prospective candidates can visit www.nc.gov/joinNC where they will be connected with an OSHR employment recruiter who will help align their skills with available roles in state government.

North Carolina seeks experienced professionals interested in public service careers. The state invites job seekers from diverse industries, promising assistance in finding rewarding careers that contribute positively to society.

For more information or to apply, visit www.nc.gov/joinNC.
