The request, issued by Old North News, a media organization dedicated to comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, sought detailed information about candidates running in the upcoming election.

The specifics of the request included a complete list of all candidates participating in the forthcoming election. In addition to basic details such as first, middle, and last names of the candidates, Old North News also requested information about the office each candidate is running for and their respective jurisdictions. Party affiliations of all candidates were also asked for.

Furthermore, Old North News requested contact information for each candidate. This includes addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses.
