Columbus Regional Health announced on April 27 that its PromptMed facility will move and be renamed. The relocation is scheduled for May 20, when PromptMed will become CRH Urgent Care and open at a new site alongside CRH Occupational Health at 3015 10th Street. The organization said there will be no interruption to patient care or hours of operation during the transition.

The move aims to bring urgent care and occupational health services together in one location. Columbus Regional Health said this alignment is expected to improve collaboration between the two services, which may lead to better patient outcomes and more efficient operations.

According to the announcement, both CRH Urgent Care and CRH Occupational Health will maintain their current services and hours throughout the transition period. Patients seeking either service can continue visiting without changes in availability or scheduling.

The relocation also includes the installation of new X-ray equipment at the 10th Street facility. This upgrade introduces advanced technology and expanded radiology services for patients using either practice, offering comprehensive imaging capabilities in a single location.

By consolidating these healthcare offerings under one roof with updated technology, Columbus Regional Health said it intends to streamline access for patients while supporting clinical teams working together more closely.
