Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) has recently highlighted several achievements and initiatives within the district through a series of tweets. These posts underscore the district’s focus on arts education, music education, and academic excellence.

On November 26, CMS shared the story of Malaysha Belton, a former student of Rocky River High School who has returned to inspire others as a media arts instructor. The tweet reads: “From Student to Star Malaysha Belton, former Rocky River High School student, has come full circle. Today, she inspires the next generation as a talented media arts instructor.”

Later that day, CMS introduced its recurring series “Creative Vibes | Empowering Minds,” which will explore various art programs across the district. This initiative aims to nurture young minds through music education at Myers Park Traditional School. The post states: “A Passion for Music Education: Nurturing Young Minds at Myers Park Traditional School”.

On November 27, CMS congratulated Providence Spring Elementary School for achieving a top ranking in the state. The tweet announces: “Congrats to Providence Spring Elementary School for ranking #5 in the state!”.
