On March 24, 2025, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools announced via Twitter that “Monday, March 31, 2025 is a Teacher Workday. There will be no classes that day.” The tweet encourages parents and students to direct any questions they might have to their respective schools.

Later the same day, the school district invited job seekers to attend an employment event by tweeting “Calling all job seekers!
