Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools has expressed gratitude to several organizations and individuals for their contributions to educational programs, as evidenced by recent tweets. These acknowledgments reflect the school’s appreciation for community support in various educational initiatives.

On March 20, 2025, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools publicly thanked the Advance Auto Parts Foundation for a significant financial contribution. The foundation donated $5,000 to aid the enrollment growth of East Mecklenburg High School’s Automotive Technology program. The school expressed its appreciation by stating “A huge thank you to the Advance Auto Parts Foundation for their generous donation of $5,000 to support the enrollment growth of East Mecklenburg High School’s Automotive Technology program. We love this community engagement and support of our students! #careertechnicaleducation”.

Later on March 20, 2025, the school district acknowledged local business professionals from Novant Health, Trane, Honeywell, and others for conducting STEM sessions aimed at middle school girls. This initiative was part of the American Heart Association’s STEM Goes Red program. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools tweeted “A warm thank you to area business professionals from Novant Health, Trane, Honeywell and others who led STEM sessions for 100 of our middle school girls. The event was part of the American Heart Association’s STEM Goes Red program to engage more girls in STEM careers. We love it!”.

On March 21, 2025, a brief tweet expressed gratitude towards NASA’s Kennedy Space Center with “Thx @NASA @NASAKennedy”. This message suggests ongoing collaboration or support between NASA and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.
