The Town of Cary announced on Apr. 30 that May will be celebrated as Bike Month, encouraging residents to participate in a variety of biking activities and events throughout the month.

Bike Month aims to promote cycling as a healthy and environmentally friendly mode of transportation while engaging the community through organized rides and educational opportunities.

Residents are invited to join community rides, take part in Bike to School Day, and attend several events scheduled across Cary during May. The town is also offering a Bike Bingo activity, where participants can download a bingo card from the official website and complete biking-related tasks for a chance to win one of three bike safety bundles.

To get involved, individuals can access event details and download the Bike Bingo card by visiting carync.gov/bikemonth. The initiative seeks to make cycling accessible for all ages while highlighting safety practices.

The Town of Cary encourages everyone interested in cycling or learning more about bike safety to explore these opportunities throughout May.
